Horizons is currently seeking independent contractors for the positions of Behavioral Specialist Consultants (BSC), Mobile Therapist (MT) and Therapeutic Staff Support

Behavior Specialist Consultant will be responsible for the assessment, program design and monitoring of a behavior modification intervention plan which is individualized to child and adolescent as well as family needs as defined by PA Department of Public Welfare, CASSP and Magellan standards. Services are provided in the school and/or home and community setting.
Requirements for BSC include:
• Valid license in the State of PA (LPC, LCSW, LSW, Licensed BSC etc.)
• One year minimum clinical experience working in the Behavioral Health field with children, adolescents
• Original and valid PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal and DPW FBI clearances
• Valid Driver's license and car insurance
• Free of communicable diseases
Mobile Therapist will provide child centered, family focused psychotherapy using a variety of treatment modalities outlined in the child's treatment plan. MT will work collaboratively with treatment team members to support the overall growth and development of the client and family. Services are provided on the school and/or home and community setting. Requirements & Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in clinical discipline including 2 semesters of formal, supervised clinical practicum experience.
Requirements for MT include:

One year minimum clinical experience working in the Behavioral Health field with children, adolescents and families
Original and valid PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal and DPW FBI clearances

Therapeutic Staff Support will be responsible for providing one-to-one mental health interventions to a child or adolescent in order to prevent more restrictive services and promote age-appropriate psychosocial growth. TSS will follow treatment plan and implement interventions developed by Behavior Specialist Consultant. TSS will work collaboratively with parents, teachers and members of community to transfer skills and techniques needed to assist child or adolescent with identified problem areas. Services are delivered either in the home, school or community setting. TSS will be responsible for progress notes and maintaining training hours.
Requirements for TSS include:
Bachelor degree in human service with no experience required or Associates degree in human service field with three years minimum experience with children and adolescents
Knowledge of CASSP Service System
Valid driver's license and car insurance
Original and valid PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal, and DPW FBI clearances
Free of communicable diseases
